| The Relationship GAP provides a "safe space" where African American males and
females can dialect and connect through words. The primary goal of the RGAP is
to provide a safe place to voice of issues of concern and controversy -- helping
to forge bridges of communication that constitute the human fabric of healthy
communities. Our overall vision is to increase the number of healthy African
American relationships. The R-GAP is designed to bridge communication between
men and women of color by connecting through dialogue in an open and honest
forum.
- What is the sense in being able to speak to crowds of hundreds or thousands,
when you go home at night and can't even speak to your own mate?
- Why after all of these intimate relationships, sex odysseys, and
accumulation of personal growth and financial wealth do we STILL act like we
don't understand each other?
- Why do we keep choosing the same dysfunctional relationship over and over
again?
- Or why aren't you being chosen at all?
- Is this media driven, sex-crazed world prohibiting Black men and women from
embracing, understanding and appreciating our NEED to develop meaning sexual and
non-sexual relationships with one another?
Any real transformation involves interactive dissection of questions and
concerns like this. In one night we transform from raunchy, to real, to
revolutionary. Please join us!!! |
