What is the Relationship GAP (Growing As a People)?
The Relationship GAP (affectionately known as RGAP) is a "safe space" where members of the opposite sex can dialect and connect through words. The RGAP sessions attempt to openly and honestly discuss the questions, complaints and concerns voiced by both Black males and Black females about each other, as well as discussing strategies for building healthier male-female relationships.
We will openly, honestly and critically examine the various and complex set of systems, institutions, beliefs and behaviors that restrict and/or facilitate healthy and productive Black and Brown male and female relationships. We also try to build lasting bonds by offering opportunities for business owners to promote their services and singles to development healthy intimate relationships. Although we focus on Black and Brown relationships all adults are welcome (White, Black, Brown, married, single, dating, etc.). We cut up, have fun, and act a fool sometimes too :)
